After spending over 6 months researching lcd's, I finally decided to pull the trigger on this Samsung.
The picture is absolutely stunning. I am using the MediaBridge HDMI cables, which I also bought off of Amazon for only $10, and couldn't be any happier. Watching movies, sports and playing PS3 (also via HDMI) has never felt so good.
While the Samsung's may cost more than other brands such as Sony and Sharp, there's a noticeable difference in picture quality and features to justify the extra dollars spent.
52" is the way to go unless you are planning to use the TV in a tiny tiny room. I think I would've went with a 52" regardless of the size of the room.
Another plus about this TV is the semi-matte finish. I have a ton of sunlight emitting through my windows and I have not experienced any issues with glare.
