Samsung LN52B630 Beautiful set

When this set was deliver and set up it was a perfect picture and still is after 4 months.We never had to adjust the color. I researched for 2 years before I finally decided on this one because I was told since Sony was more expensive it had to be better. Well, I am so glad I did not spend the extra money because I can not tell the difference between the two and saved a lot of money. If you buy this set I promise you will be very happy.

Samsung LN52B630 Finally a Plasma Replacement!

I purchased this TV based on the reviews here on Amazon, a method that has served me well over the years. The 50 inch Maxent Plasma that we have owned and loved for the last four years has stared to fail (flickering picture for a minute when first turned on). Up until this TV I had not seen an LCD that I thought had a better picture than my Plasma. The Samsung arrived and we had the opportunity to compare the old Maxent Plasma with the Samsung LCD using Dish Network's HD Programming. Side by side, comparing the two, the Samsung LCD wins.

Pilot Freight, the delivery service used by Amazon is horrible. They were over 2-1/2 hours late and did not even bother to let me know they were running late, a simple phone call would have been welcomed. When they finally did show up at 6:30 pm, the delivery men could not wait to drop the box off and leave. They opened the box and put the TV the stand only after I insisted.

Bottom Line:

The TV is awesome, Amazon.com is awesome, Pilot Freight is terrible.

Product was shipped from Vanns in a timely manner. Everything was excellent. Ordered TV, received TV. TV is excellent. Love the matte finish. No problem with the sound. All in all very smooth hastle free transaction. Superb product and customer service.

We just finally upgraded to an LCD TV. Samsung was my choice because some of my co-workers recently purchased Samsung and raved about the quality of the picture and sound.
The delivery was absolutely flawless. They called the day before and we received the TV the next day. I am amazed by the quality of the picture. You will not be disappointed.

Samsung LN52B630 very pleased

I did the typicall homework before making my selection, and based on what I wanted to spend and what I wanted, this was it. This is my 1st HD TV and I was very pleased with the results. I would have received an "A" for my homework, Great picture! (sound will be soon coming through my Onkyo sound system) I know there are others out there, but I don't know how anyone would be disappointed with this TV. I think this is a great TV, but what impressed me most was that I ordered it on a Sunday night and Thursday afternoon I was helping the truck driver (from Raleigh NC) set it up in my living room. I could not have been happier with the way it all played out. We took it out of the box, he put the stand on, hooked it up and once I saw the great picture, I signed for it.
