Samsung LN52B630 LOVE this tv!

After lots and lots of research into which HD TV to purchase, we went for this one, and we absolutely LOVE it! Many of our friends recommended we get a Samsung TV based on their experience with the brand, the quality of the television, and the cooperativeness of customer service in dealing with any problems related to their TVs. So, we started out knowing we were interested in a Samsung. We looked at plasmas and LCDs, and after evaluating our specific needs, we felt an LCD was a better fit for us. Our living room is very bright and has windows directly opposite the TV, so we were very concerned about glare. We read that this model has a very matte screen that minimizes glare, and let me tell you --- it certainly does! When the sun is streaming directly in behind us, the glare is VERY minimal, and otherwise it's nonexistant. Also, the viewing angles on this TV are great! And with the awesome swivel stand included, you can very easily adjust the angle if you need to. We love that feature! Also, this model has Picture In Picture, which is better than ever when you split the 52" screen in half! It's like having two TVs side by side. If you like watching football like we do (and other sports, too) then you will definitely appreciate the PIP for a screen of this size (even when you have the PIP at its smallest size down in the corner, it's still great!). This model also has the 120hz AutoMotion smoothing option for fast-moving scenes. We have noticed a difference, especially in sports television and channels with moving type, tickers, etc. Nice to have for clarity when you need it. Everything in HD looks amazing on this TV -- we don't even use the standard def channels anymore, as we are becoming totally spoiled by the awesome picture quality of HDTV. And same for movies-- we bought the new PS3 Slim mainly as a Blu Ray disc player (for the price you can't beat it and all it offers!!!!!), and although DVDs do look great, we are just in awe of the quality of the 1080p picture! Two of the first movies we watched on it were "X Men Wolverine" and "Coraline" and they both looked AMAZING! We are extremely happy with this TV and would highly recommend it! Especially for the price, if you catch it on sale here on Amazon, you can't beat it! You won't be disappointed in what this TV delivers, and to top it all off -- the TV itself looks beautiful!!!!!!!!! (we were a little hesitant about the red touch of color, but it really looks nice. and it's true that the buttons on the tv itself are near impossible to see/use, but SO WHAT! it makes the TV look fine, and the remote is great!) GO FOR IT! :)
